Sculpture “Catherine ” (2024)
The sculpture "Kateryna" was created based on the painting of the same name by Taras Shevchenko. The plot of the picture tells about the difficult fate of a Ukrainian girl. So the sculpture is a symbolic reflection of the fate of Ukraine.
Materials: polyester resin, metal, acrylic, varnish.
My work is a manifestation of worldview and mental state. Graphic images and symbols are a kind of satire. They have joy and sorrow, reality and imagination. My work reflects the era, its variability, ephemerality, where people are in a constant flow of change and movement.
