His favorite subject was painting, who taught such well-known masters of the brush, as Michael Figol, Kanius Nicholas, Bogdan Boychuk, Vladimir Sirko, Vladimir Lukan and others. Education was interrupted after the first year by service in the Army (Berdichev and Halle in the German Democratic Republic).
From the 3rd year in parallel with the studies he worked as head of the art studio of Ivano-Frankivsk Pioneer Palace at the Hungarian boarding school for orphans, and then the artist-designer at the Palace of Pioneers.
After the 4th year of study he had a solo exhibition in Ivano-Frankivsk.
His graduation work was a wall painting named World of Childhood in the Hungarian boarding school, which was led by Nikolai Kanius. The work is a diptych on two opposite walls, and was estimated on "excellent".
After graduation (1991) he was sent to work in Rakhiv district. The first two years he worked as a teacher of fine arts and drawing in Kostilevska school. Then he worked at the Palace of Pioneers, which after a certain period has been renamed the Children and Youth Creativity House. He was working in the education department, and was engaged in creative activities in parallel. He had a solo exhibition at the local library for adults, exhibited his paintings at Hutsul festivals in Rakhiv, Verkhovyna, Yaremche.
His paintings "Granfather's house" was exhibited at the final autumn exhibition in 1993 in Kiev, which was organised by the Union of Artists of Ukraine.
Together with Vasily Skripka they organized a group painting exhibition in Uzhgorod in the hall of the Museum of Architecture and Life, entitled "Hutsul Artists".
In 2013, his paintings were exhibited at international exhibitions in Baia Mare, Romania, Desk, Budapest, Hungary, Svidník, Slovakia, Uzhgorod, Bokshay National Art Museum, Colomya, National Museum of Hutsul.
In November 2016, his solo jubilee exhibition dedicated to painter's 50th anniversary took place in Rahiv, where 65 paintings were presented.
